A seriously flavorful, guilt-free, and versatile recipe!
Chutney can be many things, fruit based or herb based. I recently had some chutney and realized just how dang versatile, and insanely healthy it can be!! This (and many recipes) uses no oil and is just full of herbs and spices which are all healthy and low calorie!
Parsley does some amazing things for the body, including removing heavy metals, detoxifying, removing water and bloat, plus helping the body get rid of CELLULITE!! You heard me right, food can actually get rid of that nasty cottage cheese ass we all so seriously loathe! The rest of the ingredients also give great health benefits as well!
Aside from all that awesomeness provided by each ingredient, this little sauce packs a punch for your tastebuds and can be used in countless of ways. Some uses include: a dip for veggies, spread for sandwiches or wraps, salad dressing, sauce for pasta or over a quinoa/rice bowl with veggies, fish or meat sauce, the ways to enjoy it are endless!
The Innards:
- 1 bunch Fresh Parsley
- small handful Fresh Mint
- 1 Jalapeño
- 4 Green Onions
- 1/2 inch Fresh Ginger
- 1 Lemon, juiced
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 1 tsp Honey
- Salt to taste
- 2 TBSP Water (or to desired consistency)
Cook Time: 10 Minutes
How To:
1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and use just enough water to blend all ingredients well.
2. Add water to create desired consistency, i.e. more if you want it as a dressing, less if you want it as a spread.
3. Feel free to adjust ingredients such as the jalapeño and honey to taste.
Serve chilled on practically any dish and enjoy!
Bon Appétit!
